This is a large person-shaped rock placed at the entrance to Yeonyukgyo Bridge in Yongyudo Island.
The Japanese occupied Yeongjongdo Island in the 25th year of King Seonjo, then invaded Yongyudo Island during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592, but they mistook the General Rock and the many seagulls flying near the rock for a dauntless general and soldiers when they passed Gamnaru, and as they retreated they fell into the tide and perished.
