Chinatown's first pailou, Junghwaga, is a representative symbol of Chinatown, and was donated by Weihai City, which has a sisterhood relationship with Incheon City.
The name Junghwaga, or "Chinese Street", reflects Chinese ideology and means a street of Chinese people who are at the center of the world. The second pailou is Inhwamun and is located next to the Korean-Chinese Cultural Center.
The pailou has a brilliant gold dragon pattern and its name is a prayer for the prosperity of Chinatown and for it to shine bright like light.

The third pailou is Seonlinmun, located at the exit from Chinatown to Freedom Park.
The name Seonlinmun means that it is hoped that the Korean and Chinese people live well as neighbors. The fourth pailou is Hanjungmun, which is located at the entrance to Chinatown from Fairy Tale Village.
The name means a door that invites you to step into a place where Korea and China can be connected to each other, that is, in little China within Korea.
Hanjungmun, a Door to Connect Korea and China
With the completion of the fourth pailou at the entrance of Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village, the north, south, east, and west sides of Chinatown had genuine pailous established.
The four pailous that surround Chinatown are not only the boundaries that mark the beginning and the end of Chinatown, but each door contains the wishes of Chinese people who wish for the prosperity of Chinatown.
