Three Purchase Principles
for Fair Distribution of Masks
Staring on March 6, 2020, the mask purchaseprocedures will change in order to monitor multiple purchases of masks forpublic selling in accordance with the revised ‘Emergency Measures for AdjustingSupply and Demand of Face Masks and Hand Sanitizers’.
Only TWO maskscan be purchased per Person per Week
Atpharmacies, only two masks can be bought per person per week from Mondaythrough Sunday.
Atpost offices and Nonghyup Hanaro Marts, only two masks can be bought per personper week.
One mask can be purchased perperson until the multiple purchase monitoring system is in place.
Evenif you have bought one mask, additional purchase cannot be made during thatweek. Therefore, purchase of two masks at once is recommended. Also, you cannotbuy more than two masks per week even if you were unable to purchase themduring the previous week.
5-Day RotationSystem for Mask Purchase is implemented
Toreduce the waiting time to buy masks, the day for purchasing masks is designateddepending on the last digit of a person’s birth year (or Alien RegistrationNumber).

Whena legal representative (parent, etc.) visits to purchase on his/her designatedday, the accompanying minor can buy masks regardless of his/her birth year.
