The Story of Seonnyeoam Rock

There was once an army stationed at Yeongjongdo, constructing Bangeoyeong.
Cheomsa and Cheomjesa Bangeosa controlled the army of Yeongjongdo, and the chief of the army was called Ho-gun.

One of the Ho-gun had a beautiful concubine, but he gradually lost his feelings for the concubine.
Eventually, the concubine came to Yeongjongdo and threw herself into the sea out of sorrow.

However, as no one looked for her body, her body was floating on the sea of Yongyudo Harbor by the time people found that the body was the concubine of Ho-gun and buried it.
After that, Taepyeongam was called Seonnyeoam Rock, and the hill of Yongyudo Harbor was called Hogunjae since the concubine of Ho-gun was buried there.
